Our hero Tovarisch and his friend "Epic Beard Man" have made their way to the northern regions of Chernarus. While the loot is weak and the food scarce, the two brave on. The slaughtering of wild animals and the drinking of pond water is the only means of sustenance for our two heroes. There is a ominous aura, and it is only a matter of time before conflict arises, and the muzzles of a winchester and lee enfield ignite with fiery flashes of justice. Our two heroes have endured foul weather and the darkest darkness of Chernarus night.

Night had fallen and a camp had been made... stashing away their few valuables in a makeshift shelter, another day would come!

When that day did come, our comrade set out to improve their chances of survival... Armed with a revolver and a enfield, the hunt for food pressed on. With plenty of meat acquired, our comrade set back to camp... when he came across another. The tents held everything a hobo of the wastes could ever need... Antibiotics... bloodbags... painkillers... morphine.. epi... ammunition for his enfield and Beard Man's winchester. Food, drink, spare parts and bandages... How would our comrade carry off all this loot? there is far too much!... Would he have to make multiple trips across thousands of meters of rough terrain, all while hoping the rightful owners never turned up looking for their missing valuables?

WHAT LUCK!.... this camp was equipped with a rust bucket of a skoda! Without delay, all of the supplies of the camp were loaded into this skoda (which had now been turned into some sort of camper trailer). With everything buckled down, our hero sped off back to camp with his bounty of supplies- a grin plastered to his face.

Like a hobo who wins the McDonalds Monopoly game from digging around in other people's trash- Our hero rest beneath his shady tree, chomping down on his meat steak (while partaking of the extra medical supplies for "recreational" purposes... afterall, chernarus just passed a law legalizing morphine.)

Cool story bro. Pics or it didn't happen lol. I hope to group up with you guys tomorrow some time to get my 2017 on.

I keep forgetting to run fraps (even tho its just the free version)- I'll take some pictures of my hot body for you later tonight. Keep in mind I have no bathed or groomed in over 5 years.

This doesnt fit the thread, but I would like to see some of this kind of atmosphere added....
Ground Fog

So I've been trying out the US.NYC2 DayZ 2017 server for the sake of high pop. usually always around 15 people, so I rolled a new character on it (still have my other one on the server with the car, however). Saw some survivors in elektro at my spawn area and grabbed what i could in the few buildings I ran through and got the hell out of there.. I saw one guy running about with a winchester and knew he would be playing Mad Max with it in no time. Only thing I found was ammo for guns I did not have and bandages.. but I took them anyway. Along with a second water bottle. I managed to find a crowbar in a barn and beat down some zombies that had me pinned.. I was bleeding but patched up and carried on... I made a long journey north to Novy where I eventually found a enfield in a barn just south of it (as I had hoped).. Along the way I found at least 3 dead bodies along the roads.. I looted what I could off of them (a hatchet and some equipment.. toolbox and compass and some some more bandages and a revolver with 1 mag).

Everything was going decently as far as being armed... I had a revolver and a enfield with at least 50 rounds, but my food was getting dangerously red by now and I had no means of cooking the raw meat I accumulated. Novy yielded absolutely nothing of value for me... I got trapped in log cabin with a few zombies and got beat down pretty good, shot them all and made my way to the church to bandage... my blood was orange and food scarlet red... so I pressed on to stary.. soon as I hit stary my food began to blink and I knew I had to find matches or find a survivor that did and kill them... its a harsh world, afterall.

I ran through the first few residential buildings... nothing... I started to get a bit more stressed out, but held out hope for the grocery store having what I needed... as it has in the past.

Sure enough, I found a box of matches and a map... thank god... I check the back of the store just to be sure there wasn't anything else.... found a tinker backpack .. SWEET... loaded it up with my supplies from the other pack and swapped them out and ran out of stary like a bat out of hell... found a boar along the way and shot it... cooked up the meat and ate all 3 steaks back to back to back... almost full health.. COLOR!...

So I pressed on across the big open field north of stary and came across another cow and goat.. killed them both and stocked up on the meat before continuing my journey north... I now have a dozen steaks and a few bottles of water and am ready to go into seclusion until we are all able to meet up and travel safely as a unit and have a better chance of survival with me being able to provide the meals.

In side chat, not even 5 minutes after leaving stary, i heard someone say "stary tents are empty again"... Seem I narrowly missed an encounter that could have set me back to square one.

I love 2017 so far... I love that a meat steak or a box of matches is now as exciting to get as a AS50 would have been.

do you plan on playing on that server? It is 24/7 daylight right?

Server seems to stay populated way more than the other one.. probably due to the fact that, yes, it is daylight 24/7.. This server and the shinkicker server seem to be neck and neck with each other with active players throughout the day... right now at 8:30PM pacific there is 13/40 players on Shinkicker's server and 8/50 on the US.NYC2 server.

Earlier today, US.NYC2 had more than shinkicker's. Seems that they trade places for the lead in the evening. I may make a character on shinkicker's server, too.. Just because I see myself hopping between the 3 servers depending on whos on or if the server is populated... they are the top 3 servers that I can tell so far.

Your desciptive adventures are written better then most top selling books... I always check this thread daily to see what new asventure u, rpg, and zodiac have
