RpG and I had some more fun on the BMRF server last night... It all started with us running down the road from Elektro to Cherno with RPG holding a flare in his hand and the light turned on on his G17... some guy with a AKM stopped and stared at us... I ended up shooting him dead with a enfield and while looting his body I get shot at by some guys up in the treeline with M4s or somethin... none of them hit me and I fled to the shore and went under the bridge... eventually I see them moving toward the prig house up the hill so RPG and I move to intercept them... RPG takes teh trees and I take the hill.. I end up getting shot and killed with no sounds playing for gunshots (anyone else run into that ever? getting shot point blank and no gunshot sounds for non-sd weapons?)

Anyway... I respawn and make my way back.. RPG had killed one of the two and was under the impression that the other one was camping his friends body so he could come back and loot it, but after taking a long poop AFK, its possible he moved on without our knowing... I make it back after looting a AK in cherno and shooting some poor flashlight wielder in the firestation tower by mistake... we check the trees and find nothing.... but we notice some people messing around with a tractor down in the field beyond the trees in prig.

So we get a little closer in the tree line and scope out the situation... two guys looking at the rear tire of the tractor and another guy just running about mindlessly....

We decide to try and take out the tire of the tractor... RPG nails it twice, putting two bullets right between the two guys as they look at the tire... they scatter and one guy hops in and tries to drive away down teh train tracks.... I unload some rounds into the engine compartment of the tractor with my AK while RPG continues to try to throttle the driver out of it with his enfield... Eventually we see this...



we laugh and laugh and head to cherno... apparently the driver lived or made it back to his tractor later, cause he was calling us out to come back and "finish the job" over and over before the server restart....

After the restart we make it into cherno and proceed to have a shoot out with a guy with a M14 right after he shot a unarmed guy at the church... I got taken out and RPG proceeds to take him out with the enfield while the guy tries being sneaky sneaky....

So again im on my way back to get my gear... RPG is trying to round up zombies off of my body so i can loot, when some jackass out of nowhere starts looting my stuff... not 2 seconds after he loots my stuff, zombies wtfpwn him and he passes out on the pavement... RPG shoots at him to finish him off... the next few minutes are spent trying to wade through hundreds of zombies to get to my body.... we eventually get it and head out toward Balota...

When we arrive I see a littlebird out in the field and im instantly captivated.... I head across the field, not even caring if a sniper drops me or not... I hop in and everything is green... Just need a jerry....

We run to the nearby industrials and as we are looking around I see a guy run in behind RPG with an AK and unloads a whole clip at him.............. he missed every single shot! lol...

He runs out of the industrial and i chase after and mow him down while he's reloading around the corner.... we move on toward the ATC and take shots from a guy on top of it... i manage to sneak around back while RPG keeps his attention... RPG reminds me that i have a frag grenade and i instantly think "AH YEAH!" but i fumble the grenade and it lands at my feet and i explode myself.... looks like i'll be running back to the action AGAIN....

Rpg manages to nail the guy twice before I get there and i find one jerry can along my way from kamenka out of 10+ industrials searched.... I get chased by a guy with a hatchet.... I run into two more armed guys.. one in a gillie.... they let me go, luckily..... so I press on to the little bird with one jerry can....

RPG mentions seeing some guy in the area but has no idea where he went, but I care not.... I have one mission.... I put 20 litres into the littlebird and hop in... I fire it up with the idea of taking it to the nearby gas pump on the airfield but as soon as I start the engine, I start getting "ting-tong"d by a couple guys in the trees near the medical tents... they hit the heli a few times and one bullet slips in and hits me... I'm bleeding but i manage to take off... can't tell where they are after a few passes (i was gonna dive bomb them for their jackassery)... with a sliver of fuel i land at the gas station between balota and cherno and throw in 4 more jerry cans worth... I managed to land the thing right at empty and my blood is a tiny little dribble at the bottom of the drop.... RPG manages to meet up with me and give me some blood and we take off again... we head north to zelenogorsk and fuel up some more... we got people in side chat saying they see our littlebird, so we only spend about 5 minutes at each fuel station and head out... we hit Gorka next, thinking it may be less populated... halfway through the refueling I spot a guy posting up on the hill witha rifle.... luckily I had kept the engine running and we made a quick getaway...

We decide to hit podema dam and see if we cant find some camps with supplies (as we assume most people try to make that area their base on most servers...) we found a gaz and a URAL in the trees... neither had anything worthwhile (except jerry cans)... we steal the cans and then start the engines on both vehicles and leave them running.. we head out for lopatino (or whatever) to fuel up before the server restart in 30 and we have yet another guy call out our heli...

RPG know of this guy... hes the same guy that looted my dead body in prig...

He needs a bloodbag and he will exchange one for a FAL.... i'm tempted to say screw this guy and get our gas and find a good spot to hide the heli and log for the night... but RPG is just too convincing...

We fill up and then head back to the guy... land and make the exchange... he stayed true to his word and I took the FAL out of his pack after RPG gave him the bloodbag... everyone said thanks and went separate ways... found a good spot to hide our heli and logged...

I kinda hate having a helicopter on a server I do not run... it stresses me out too much lol.. good times tho.

Lue you need to start making videos of this stuff. When I get my new computer in about a month I plan on doing several videos. If I could figure out the editor for arma 2 I would make a recruiting video for the DayZ team.

We were just talking about that actually. I'm going to clear one of my hard drives when I get some free time and use it for recording.

I should roll more DayZ with you guys. There were some good times back in the infancy of DayZ, I've got the HD space to record a few hours of DayZ at a time, (Probably 2-3)

Got quite a bit of footage tonight. A couple more nights of this kind of lunacy and I will be able to make a short clip of good times. Maybe next weekend

Nice. They need to release the "real" dayz already. Been playing too much Borderlands 2 lately. I'll be the jack-wagon looking at everything hoping it's 3% better than my last gun, whilst I get shot by a guy with any gun who's thinking "Gun make badguy dead, why wonder if it have 3% more damage?"

No. Framerates in cities lately are in the 20's without recording, so I won't be running fraps until it gets better.
