I am really starting to like this map however it seems every time i get a decent weapon or load out i start getting chased by Blood Suckers.

Currentley i am being chased by 2 and have been trying to evade them for like 5 mins or so. I am low on health food and drink and im sure when i re spawn ill be dead.

I have almost unloaded 3 AKM mags into them and havent really touched them at all this is rediculas.

If at all possible can we remove the Blood Suckers?

I had 5 of them hunting me once >.> the AI they have is quite amazing as some will just follow straight after you while the other flank you and try to cut you off, combined with their ability to lock your controls up their incredibly scary

I have yet to encounter them (thankfully). But if you're heading towards military stuff more often than not, isn't it likely that you'll increase the chance of them coming after you? I heard they frequently meander around deer stands too, or anything involving barracks.

my current bloodsucker sightings are
-Nemsk 2
-old sawmill 1
-west end of tara bridge 1
-Nitija peak (group of 4 of them)
-Sebjan dam 2
-Alakit 1
-Vorkuta 20ish? they were spawning in clusters like the zombies do near the grocery store
-Jalovisko 1

I've also spotted a few dozen out in the woods and along the roads (nowhere near the hunting stands) the only places i've been to that didnt have atleast 1 or 2 are nemsk factory, old hospital and Object A2/brensk railway. I'm apparently an extremely high priority target for them! Thankfully they don't spawn stealthed so you know where they spawn atleast.

The 2 near me now are at the closest Hunting stand near Northern army base the first one i ran into was on the road North of Norinsk i hate them and cannot outrun them. I dont think ivve seen one spawn i just get the gowling noise and i start hauling butt.

Have yet to be able to kill one.

I vote no removal... Thats jus me i have no major degree of difficulty losing them in dense trees or a building

You CAN lose them like other zombies (in trees and such), but I haven't seen one yet so my advice is limited. They do occasionally spawn in the forest, but they are primarily meant to make people think twice about entering military zones alone. Buddy up if you can.

The blood suckers will not be removed. It is part of the map along with the "EMP" type explosion... I would not even know where to begin to remove them if it is even possible. I ran into a blood sucker right when I logged in after getting my first gun... An AK-107 GL... I only had 3 mags for it and I unloaded about 2 of them into a blood sucker and it died just fine. Problem was that by the time I killed it, He had hit me enough to take my blood down to nearly nothing... I was passing out every couple of minutes on my way to vorkuta and eventually got a blood bag...

As RPG said... Buddy up if you cannot seem to kill them on your own... From my experience, though, they are definitely killable with well placed shots... My shots were not even that well placed and it died... I was doing full auto into its torso for majority of my hits because everytime he would hit me, my guy and controls would lock up momentarily and make it nearly impossible to score headshots.

When I fought my bloodsucker I also had about a dozen zombies chasing me, too... it sucks... its hard... but thats the point of our server and Day Z (at least I hope). Like I said before, this map will test everyone... Those who are new and learning will be forced to adapt quickly and learn quickly which is only a benefit to them in the end... Imagine how rewarding it will feel when you take down your first blood sucker and earn some e-peen points.

My blood sucker encounter was intense and when I walked away bleeding profusely and my life hanging by a thread, It felt epic... far more so than outrunning a dozen zombies through elektro and yawning all the way to a tent a thousand miles on the other side of the map.

TLDR; no the blood suckers are staying.

lol dont take it to heart i can live with them even if i hate them i just hear more people comlaining about them latley so figured i would post. If its to hard to do then no big deal.
