I was trying to get in the server today. I kept getting kicked from the lobby. DeSousa said it was giving a file signature error. I re-installed dayz, namalsk, and arma update to no avail. I was able to log in to another Namalsk server. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Give me a few minutes and I'll look into it.

First things first, try the standard procedure to get it out of the way:

1.Validate local files in steam
2. From your steam library launch ARMA 2. Wait for the game to completely load and you are sitting at the main menu screen. Close ARMA 2 through the main menu.
3. From your steam library launch ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. Wait for the game to completely load and you are sitting at the main menu screen. Close ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead through the main menu.
4. From your steam library right click ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead and select "Launch ARMA 2: Combined Operations". Wait for the game to completely load and you are sitting at the main menu screen. Close ARMA 2: Combined Operations through the main menu.
5. Run DayZ Commander and check the versions tab to make sure your ARMA and DayZ versions are both up to date.


I think the issue is more complicated than that, but I'd like to start from step 1. Basically, your battleye is kicking you, so make sure that the other servers you are able to connect to have battleye running, and note whether they are private or public hive.

If that doesn't work, then update your battleye, and make sure your armaII beta (the one you can see in the install/update tab in commander) is updated to the latest: 102591

manually updated every thing. still a no go. The server that I could get in was running an out dated arma2.

This is really odd... I can't really think of anything that would be prevented you from joining if everything is up to date... You do not have any set launch parameters from, say, Day Z 2017? or anything of that nature?... I can't really think of much else that could effect it other than possibly settings set elsewhere that have been forgotten about...

Have you back out to the main menu after being kicked and made sure that under expansions everything is checked? Everything actually "running"?

Whenever I can't get something to work, or if it worked before and now does not... I think about anything that has changed since the time it did work and kinda backtrack a bit. If you could log in while someones on to see what the exact message is that you get, we may be able to look into it better.
