Namalsk Crisis – By Sumrak

Namalsk has become a target for an unknown corporation called NAC (Namalsk corporation). After several months of researches on an unknow alien object, which they found on Namalsk, and with a very dangerous experiments, armies of Russia and USA are trying to stop them. Unfortunately, they don't know with whom have honor.


Short Rundown of Alternate reality (based off of Surmak's Namalsk Crisis)-

A cold winter has arrived after the final rounds were spent in attempting to prevent the Namalsk Corporation from achieving their end goal. Both the Russian and American powers ultimately failed in their efforts to seize the island and ending the threat. Namalsk Corporation succeeded in harnessing the alien technology, using it in a last ditch effort to put an end to the assault by American and Russian operatives.

The resulting EVR blast crippled all sides of the conflict and left Namalsk a island of husks and wreckage. With the Namalsk Corporation seemingly eliminated, the EVR continues to discharge across the island with no known way of stopping it. The NAC's alien prototypes, holding cells, and holding tanks have been breached during the conflict, resulting in widespread movement of an unknown species dubbed “blood suckers”.

You are a survivor... Either you survived the conflict, itself, or have happened across this hellish island by chance.

*NAC (controlled by admin(s) and used as planned/scheduled event personnel.)
*US Military (self explanatory. Survivors of the conflict that remain uninfected.)
*Russian Military (self explanatory. Survivors of the conflict that remain uninfected.)
*Lone Survivor (those that were either civs during the conflict, or new comers to the island... not part of any particular faction.. free to make their own way.)

And then the bandit faction are perhaps the people taking advantage of the free-for-all on the island given that they can handle themselves, or perhaps they were previously survivors gone rogue and mad, existing on their own terms?

The only difficulty I see in having a suitable backstory for this map is that it is so goddamn small. You would run into everyone constantly, and there are only a few bases to raid or protect, as well as a main hospital that would be ransacked by just about every faction.

But conflict is a good thing in the end of the world

Yeah but it's like having a wrestling match in a hula-hoop. XD

Which is totally epic. Good idea.

Would be more epic if it was 2 hot chicks in a hula hoop covered in mud.

I reserve the faction name demolition LTD and declare war on any and every vehicle on the map
