we appear to have hit nighttime on the dayz server, we also have an intense snowstorm. figured i'd post here since im not sure if it's supposed to be like this(souza didnt know either) I gotta say i like the snow :P

There is night time because the server is not being restarted every 4 hours at the moment. I have had my admin access to the server revoked so it will probably be like that until someone does something with it. I don't mind night time either, but the always day time thing was done because of different time zones.. some people were always stuck playing day and some were always stuck playing night so we went with that.

Personally I would love to find a way to make time go by faster ingame so that night and day come for everyone at some point.

server restart every 18-23 hours would do that.

have it so when the server restarts every 4hr it sets to 6PM or 4Am. Pretty sure the night effect is 8pm-6AM.

For me in the morning it just becomes night and when I go to bed it begins to go morning so its dark all the time for me. SUCKS!

Or have the server restart at say 5PM and restart again in 6 hours so in game its 5 - 11 PM or we could even say 4 - 10
