So far today I have die as I was going through the gate from spawn. The 1st time I lost most of all my diamonds gear and tools. The next times I was smart and just had iron tools and gear. But each time I had 2 to 5 diamonds on me. I know I was just after sand but what I loss was 1/2 of the sand too. Am I doing something wrong or what?

Please describe exactly how you are dying? What world is it? Like does it happen as soon as you enter the purple portal, or once you already loaded into a world. How do you die? Suffocation, falling?

If I type back I end up out side of the town portal, so I am faceing the portal and run into it I die from suffocation I will be stuck there hopping around trying to get out and end up dieing and when I run back 1/2 to all of my things are gone or you can see them just inside the portal if I run in I can not pick them up. It happen 3 times and it suck when you lost your good things.

There are no blocks under the portals. I died like that once too. When I went to get my gsar the second time I fell through the floor and picked up the rest of the things. Maybe put some blocks under the portal. ?
