Minecraft Community Update was created by [BBF]Chaser

Today has been a fairly chaotic day within the Minecraft community.

So what the big deal? Well earlier today Bukkit announced they were closing up shop. What this would mean is the primary tool for creating a server with plugins would be no more.

Apparently Mojang caught wind of this and have since taken over Bukkit. Mojang announced that they purchased Bukkit over two years ago and will continue to update Bukkit to 1.8

Many of you may not remember but not long ago Mojang decided to start enforcing their EULA (mostley to get rid of pay-to-win servers) this has seemingly left Bukkit witha sour taste and worried about their legal rights.

Mojang reports Bukkit as active and knowledgeable about the EULA changes.

The entire thing is just crazy.

Spigot which we use currentley is a fork of Bukkit (it uses bukkit code and enhances it) has yet to make an official statement about their future

Yea i wish it was only that... nope this probably means like half if not all the mods we use are dead now.

The only issue with forge is that you need client side mods which most people dont know how to install.

Or you like playing on 2-3 differant serverrs which all have differant mods then you need something like multimc to have multiple instances.
