Mojang[/size] announced that they plan on releasing a new Minecraft version about every two months so BBF has decided that the best way to keep our members active would be to (Legally) offer a way to downgrade Minecraft versions in case they accidentally updated before the server did.

To do this BBF is offering a free download that will include access to 3 servers. These servers include.

• BBF Primary Server
  • The BBF Primary server is our main server and allows everyone to join.
• BBF Secondary Server
  • The BBF Secondary server is a test server 90% of the time and only white-listed players may join
• Korcraft Server
  • The Korcraft Server is a highly customized server (much like Tekkit) and is white-listed for members only. Visit this thread for more information.Non-BBF Modded Server

The files are saved as a .rar format which means you need a program that can read this file type. WinRAR is a lightweight plugin that will help in extracting the information from this file. To download WinRAR go HERE

1. Download HERE
2. Save the folder convenient
3. Once the download has completed navigate to the file (BBF_MultiMC.rar)
4. Right click on the file and select "Extract to BBF_MultiMC\
5. A new folder called BBF_MultiMC will be created
6. To launch MultiMC open the new folder
7. Open the minecraft folder
8. Double click the MultiMC file

9. When MultiMC opens click on the server icon you wish to play on.

Easy Start up:[/size] I don't really like having to navigate to a folder to start my Minecraft Launchers so this will show you how to create a shortcut and move it to your desctop.

1. Open the "BBF_MultiMC" Folder
2. Open the minecraft folder
3. Right click "MultiMC" and select "Create Shortcut"
4. This has created a "MultiMC - Shortcut" file
5. mouse over the "MultiMC - Shortcut" file and left click + drag the file onto the desktop

You have now successfully created a shortcut to the MultiMC launcher

Allocate more Memory:[/size] Allocating more memory is a great way to boost your Minecraft experience. Allocating more memory simply determines the highest amount of RAM Minecraft can use. Programs only use what they need but some Java programs like Minecraft are given caps so if the program hits that cap (Minecraft is capped at about 512 MB) then a person will experience lag (client side) increasing that cap to 1-2 GB usually solves any cap issues without disrupting other programs.

The first thing you need to do is to view the amount of RAM your PC has.

How to tell how much RAM you have:

1. Open the Windows control panel
2. click"System and Security"
3. under "System" click "View amount of RAM and processor speed"
4. You will find the amount of RAM under "Installed Memory (RAM):

I have removed the whitelist on the test server. You cannot build but you should be in creative and have access to fly around and look please leave feedback.

So, I downloaded it and have created the shortcut, but when I double click the desktop icon to run the program, I am prompted to open it as if it is a folder/document of some sort. Any suggestions as to what to do?

use it the same way you'd use korcraft, the shortcut is optional, to run open the folder and launch MultiMC.exe

I think you created a short cut to the multimc.cfg file which is an actual config file.

As Corruption said you do not need to use the shortcut you can simply launch by opening the folder every time.

You want to make a shortcut from the file that says MultiMC and the file type says Application

I tried the original download as well, but it still hasn't worked. I'll delete and reinstall the folder. The download off of mediafire is a .rar, correct?

Yes you must have a program that can unzip .rar files
