Mojang announced that they plan on releasing a new Minecraft version about every two months so BBF has decided that the best way to keep our members active would be to (Legally) offer a way to downgrade Minecraft versions in case they accidentally updated before the server did.
To do this BBF is offering a free download that will include access to 3 servers. These servers include.
- BBF Primary Server
- The BBF Primary server is our main server and allows everyone to join.
- BBF Secondary Server
- The BBF Secondary server is a test server 90% of the time and only white-listed players may join
- Korcraft Server
- The Korcraft Server is a highly customized server (much like Tekkit) and is white-listed for members only. Visit this thread for more information.Non-BBF Modded Server

Download
[/align:k0pf9tzk]
The files are saved as a .rar format which means you need a program that can read this file type. WinRAR is a lightweight plugin that will help in extracting the information from this file. To download WinRAR go

Tips and Suggestions
Disclaimer: Most of these tips are based off of windows 7 and may not apply to all operating systems.[/align:k0pf9tzk]

Easy Start up: I don't really like having to navigate to a folder to start my Minecraft Launchers so this will show you how to create a shortcut and move it to your desctop.
- Open the "BBF_MultiMC" Folder
- Open the minecraft folder
- Right click "MultiMC" and select "Create Shortcut"
- This has created a "MultiMC - Shortcut" file
- mouse over the "MultiMC - Shortcut" file and left click + drag the file onto the desktop
You have now successfully created a shortcut to the MultiMC launcher

Allocate more Memory: Allocating more memory is a great way to boost your Minecraft experience. Allocating more memory simply determines the highest amount of RAM Minecraft can use. Programs only use what they need but some Java programs like Minecraft are given caps so if the program hits that cap (Minecraft is capped at about 512 MB) then a person will experience lag (client side) increasing that cap to 1-2 GB usually solves any cap issues without disrupting other programs.
The first thing you need to do is to view the amount of RAM your PC has.
How to tell how much RAM you have:
- Open the Windows control panel
- click"System and Security"
- under "System" click "View amount of RAM and processor speed"
- You will find the amount of RAM under "Installed Memory (RAM):
Dedicating more RAM:
Notice: If you have less then 4 GB of RAM do not dedicate RAM
[*=1]Open MultiMC
[*=1]Right click on a server icon to change it
[*=1]Go to "Settings"
[*=1]Click the "Java" Tab
[*=1]Under "Memory" unselect the box saying "Use Defaults"
[*=1]Under "Minimum Memory Allocated" type 1024 (this is 1GB of RAM)
- Only change RAM in incraments of 512 (1/2 GB)
[*=1]Under "Maximum Memory Allocated" type 2048 (this is 2GB of RAM)
- Only change RAM in incraments of 512 (1/2 GB)
1 GB minimum and 2 GB maximum is more then enough memory there should be no reason to exceed this amount.
