Hello, With the update to 1.5 I'll finally be selecting Moderators for the server on top of our current officers should they decide to continue, if your interested in the position please read through the following and follow the directions at the bottom.

Duties of a moderator
-To keep an eye on chat constantly, one of the main duties of a moderator is being available to assist with problems as needed. No matter the time/circumstance.
-To make sure player's are enjoying themselves.
-To take action when needed to uphold server rules.
-To write up reports on actions taken to the GC/CGC and to make sure their accurate.

Essential Skills
-Problem solving, moderators should be able to remain unbiased and hear out both sides of a story before taking action
-Patient, Not everything can be dealt with quickly
-Professional, Moderators represent the server and BBF as a whole to a greater extent than members do to guests, and should be good rolemodels for recruits and cadets.

Abilities of a moderator
-Mute, Jail, Kick, Ban are the abilities of a moderator(when bukkit is up) moderators will be given a thorough explanation of the proper times to use each of these powers, and what needs to be done when one is activated.
-Ability to directly contact the GC and CGC as needed.

Negatives
-"CAN I HAVE OP?!?" while rare will become excruciatingly annoying.
-Increased strain, occasionally you'll get home from a stressful day to play a bit and have to break up a war before you can relax.

Bill say's Alex built a wooden house next to his Lava citadel, and that the sheep were causing lag.
Cynthia live's nearby and say's she's stuck in a hole between the 2 houses and can't get out.

Do I need to re-apply for moderator?

Also, what is the word of my officer application? I guess it's been denied...? I submitted it on 1-31-13 and never got a reply back....

i have no idea what happened to your officer application (i assume it ended up with chase or somone else above me) as for reapplying, no you don't have to since you've already been appointed as a moderator, although you can feel free to send the pp in if you want :P I'll take a look around and see if i can find your officer app.

How do you apply to be a officer?

Applications for CGC and above are handled through the Members->BBF forms section.

Oh I must have misunderstood. I thought officers where the rank below the branch leadership not the leadership itself.

I have not received any officer applications.

CGC's are chosen by the GC of the game however before being appointed they need to submit an application and will then be appointed by the RC a link can be found below.

Any other Officer rank is chosen by the GC and does not need to be approved by the RC. In the past mods could be 13 or above however an officer of a game needs to be 16 or above. Mods do not get any special recognition on the forums however they can add something to their sig about being a MC mod.

I did not send a CGC or above application. I used the same exact format but for Captain, but I sent it to Corrupt. I guess I will resend it.

Do i have to reapply for mod?
