I've found a plugin that does some major overhauls to minecraft and how it works and some of the features seem interesting, after some local server testing i've found i can enable/disable certain features individually so I'll post a feature list here!

Note, Future Lodemines may be using some of these features!

Please point out any features you'd be particularly interested in/wouldnt want to see.

(Enviroment)
-Dirt/cobblestone act like sand
-Stone cannot be mined with a stone/wood pick
-Stone causes higher durability damage to pickaxes
-Ores cause nearby stone to become cobblestone(breakable by any pick)
-TNT recipe gives 3 TNT
-TNT causes nearby stone to collapse
-Torches may not be placed below a certain depth
-Torches fizzle in the rain
-Torches may not be placed on sand/dirt/gravel/cobble
-Trees come down all at once
-Respawn with less than full food/health
-Extinguishing fire with your hand causes you to light on fire
-Explosions/fall damage/drowning cause potion effects such as blindness,nausea etc
-Swimming is impossible while carrying too much
-Swimming up a waterfall is impossible
-Netherack may burst into flame on mining it
-Some items dissapear entirely upon death

(Mobs)
-Zombies cause Slowness
-Zombies respawn after being killed unless set on fire
-Skeletons deflect arrows
-Skeletons have higher knockback and summon Silverfish
-Spiders shoot webs on death
-creepers explode into fireworks when set on fire(no terrain damage)
-Blazes spawn in the overworld(underground only)
-Blazes explode on death
-Blazes create fire near them
-Blazes have a chance to split into 2 in the nether upon death
-Magmacubes are more common
-Pigzombies always angry
-Pigzombies drop netherwart while in nether fortresses
-Ghasts are immune to arrows but drop 10X loot
-Endermen can teleport players
-Witches spawn normally and rely on teleportation,minion spawns, and healing potions
-Enderdragon respawns
-Enderdragon drops villager eggs
-Enderdragon shoots fireballs
-More monsters below a certain Depth (2x,3x etc)

(Farming)
-Crops have a chance to fail
-Deserts are infertile
-Snow destroys crops
-Buckets cant pick up water(silk touch ice becomes valuable)
-Sheep grow only white wool
-Nether wart cant be grown, pigmen drop it
-melon/pumpkin seeds uncraftable

That's the full possible changelist for this plugin, some of these are extremely scary and no they won't all be implemented probably(we can pick and choose) and yes we can select which worlds we wish this to effect. So in other words-I am not implementing all of these, these are POSSIBLE things that can be done if you guys would find it enjoyable-

Break a surface ore with a wood pick or your fists, it will turn the stone around it into cobble, which can be mined with wood. Use the cobble to make a pick, which you can use to mine surface iron, which you will then use for a pick.

A lot of those sound like loads of fun. Endermen can teleport players sounds like it could be very interesting lol. If any of those are added to the Korcraft server you may want to take out the rare mobs due to it already being hard as it is.

Here is my opinion on this.

(Enviroment)

Dirt i can understand but stone acting like sand? I dont think this is a greta option
-Stone cannot be mined with a stone/wood pick
So the only way to get high value minerals is by finding a mineshaft chest i say no.
-Stone causes higher durability damage to pickaxes
I think dirt and ore would cause more damage to a pick dirt because it will dull the tip and ore because its harder than stone
-Ores cause nearby stone to become cobblestone(breakable by any pick)
What purpose would this be good for?

TNT is usually disabled if you enable it you will have a mess on your hands
-Torches may not be placed below a certain depth
Is this a configurable depth? if so i like it

I like the aspect of being able to fell trees but if the blocks just break and are clectable its less realistic then just cutting them all down and make wood collecting way to easy.

For the mobs anything marked in red i dont particularly care for.

The End again plugin takes care of this
-Enderdragon drops villager eggs
-Enderdragon shoots fireballs

I like all the differant farming aspects except the one where buckets cannot pick up water.

is the link, and that's Cobblestone not stone that falls, they are separate, and the point of taking an ore making stone into cobble is that you can mine cobble normally, and after testing logs fall when the bottom is chopped out. but only fall down 1 block, and i haven't succeeded in torching a tree

I think just about all of these things would make minecraft a lot more realistic. I really like how you would get 3 TNT in a recipe because TNT is fun but hard to make. I also like the addiction of trees falling when you break 1 block, its quicker and less boring. The "mobs" part i'm not really interested in except the addictions where blazes spawn in the overworld, where creepers shoot into fireworks, and that zombie pigmen drop nether wart in fortresses because its hard to get them. My 2 LEAST favorites in all of the list is zombie pigmen always being angry, almost no one would be able to survive in that place for a minute. The other one is when you die some of your items would despawn... some people would cry if that happened.
