so i was on my alternate account with some friends new to the game and one of us wasnt in the game due to a misunderstanding so when we went into champ select I alt f4'd out to go get the other one and deal with the 3minute timer, but apparently it didnt cancel the champ select, it just counted me as "disconnected" and my fiends were still in the champ select apparently, so they also alt f4 and reload league and now its telling them to reconnect the game in progress, even though the game never started to begin with. Weird thing is i alt f4d but didnt get a message to rejoin game in progress. I logged back in to league and tried inviting my friends but it insta-declines them from joining. (I dont even know how they were signed in and not "in-game" or something)

my friends already ragequit from a game before or just "left" due to being so nooby and it would really suck if they got a ban at level 4 and level 10

weve tried shutting down league & leaving and coming back 1 hour later

and it was a freaking co-op vs AI game

If it doesn't resolve itself soon, send in a support ticket. Riot is pretty good about responding to support tickets.

No worries, riots servers were melting down that day, I had the same issue and got a message from a friend about being stuck in the champ select as well. Saw some threads about it to on reddit with a decent amount of upvotes and comments.
