The CLB-DC would like to announce changes to the BBF clan rank structure. These changes are the cumulation of two projects that were recently brought to fruition. One aspect of these updates dealt with updating the assignment list for every position from the CGC rank all the way up to the top position, General of the Army. Each position was reviewed to ensure that the assignments listed were more concise and did not needlessly repeat information. New assignments were added to several vacant positions to update them. Some assignments were also re-tasked to different positions in some cases based on how the processes are currently handled. The CLB-DC would like to encourage all members to review the changes and familiarize themselves with the assignment list for their specific rank at the ranks page.

Another aspect of these updates is the addition of several new "core member" Warrant Officer ranks. These time-based ranks were added to give recognition to those members who have been with the clan for a periods from 7 years up to 25 years of service. The addition of these ranks will help to distinguish those members and provide them with recognition for their time in Baptized by Fire.

We are aware that due to the forum changes of years past that not everyone has their proper join date referenced on the current forum. There will be another project started in the future to work to identify members effected and hopefully remedy the problem, but it will not occur until after the forum is updated to the next major release. Your patience on that particular matter is appreciated.
