Wife is disappoint was created by meupatdoes

I had a great time last night, from what I can remember, but my wife is not very happy. She says I stayed up way too late playing shoot'em up. She says I drank way too much. She says I forgot to take the new puppy out for a walk before passing out. She wants to know if this BBF thing is going to be a regular thang. I just put the pillow over my aching head and smiled. I had a great time and I can't wait to do it again.

We like to always say "family first" man. It is more important, so make sure you can find out what works for you guys.


So, maybe you shouldn't stay up as late and drink less? :thumb:

I was up until 4am this morning...but that's because I went and drank a bunch of new green tea I bought...had plenty of caffeine, then decided to get our test Minecraft server online. :(


I always like to point out that when I'm at home gaming, at least I'm at home and not down at the bar spending money and looking at girls like many guys do.

I also have to watch how much I play, because it can affect my relationship with family. I consider most of my friends to be BBF members, and I don't think having my fun playing on the computer is bad as long as I can get some exercise in (which is the hard part...) and make sure I give my family some attention.

I beat you by an hour and my wife is ALWAYS upset with how much time I spend on my computer in general, so I feel your pain there.
However, just as Paco pointed out, we can't let "our" time get in the way of family time.
In fact - I just thought of about 4 or 5 things I need to take care of around the house...................crap.........................lol

Between me playing on the computer all the time and only working on the weekends, and my wife working Mon thru Fri. I have to pitch-in so I dont look like a lazy computer Zombie... :rolleyes: So between games I vacuum the house, do the dishes, take out the trash, fix everything on the '"Honey Do" list. Then to play it safe I try to be off the computer when she comes home and she cooks dinner....after dinner she most likely will turn on some dumb TV show and thats when I get back on..then I play until I drop,,, about 4 or 5 AM. :D I think it works..... However sometimes she does seem to be upset about the computer time I put in.... Must be a Wife thing and I don't understand females all the good.
