I run CoreTemp in the background at all times and constantly am checking what my temps look like.

Here is mine earlier today:

**NOTE** The core speed diff's are because I run AMD cool and quiet as well. Helps keep those temps down and saves some wear and tear on the procs!

Well I just opened up my core temp in a really long time.

Right now I have 37 as my low and 39 as my high.

I am running an Overclocked AMD 955 BE from 3.2 to 4.125 on air.

I am really hoping to sneak an upgrade soon either going to be another 6850 vid card ($160) or a CorsairH80 or H100 if I can get the 100 to fit lol.

Looking at the temps I might be safer off getting the new cpu fan. If only I can get the woman to agree.

Ok, OC'd my proc 10% from 2.5 to 2.7 and here is what the temps look like:

It would appear this proc likes the OC opposed to the stock as the temp dropped from my previous high of 44................:huh:

I'll be playing with it over the next few weeks to see where I can get it. I've seen threads on other boards calling 3.1 achieveable on this chip, so we'll see.

Heck, I'll be happy with a 2.9! lol

You might only be able to get to 3.1 if you turn cool and quiet off. I know i couldnt reach over 4.0 if i didnt.
