Damnit Beholder, where'd you go!?!? Oh man.. I tell you I don't think I've EVER seen a team filled with more scratchers, hairpullers and grapplers than this crappy team Lemieux owns.

Pittsburgh fans should disown this team as it's the biggest collection of women to ever strap on skates - and I'm INCLUDING Olympic Figure Skating.

Hahaha, is this series pretty good? I was seeing highlights while watching the Wings game on Friday. It looks like it was a pretty close game.

But on an unrelated note: Go Red Wings!!!

And I'm also rooting for the Rangers on the east.

That's what I love about you Akkim, you are American but you truly appreciate hockey. A rare combination.

I can almost taste Sids tears from here... and they taste so sweet.

Source, face it - they're women - ugly, hairy, women. Full on WinniPIGs, I tell ya =)

Right now I'm almost willing to root for the Kings up until (and if) they face the Bruins... but good lord there's a lot of fakers and floppers in that series (both sides). I wanna say it was Burrows last night looking up to God as if he was gonna join him soon when he got sandwiched in the middle of the game. Frickin' skirts.

I'm not sure I understand what Shanahan is doing in the playoffs after Weber gets away with a fine. Now things are getting serious all around. PIT/PHI is already pretty chippy to say the least, it's only going to get worse. PIT gooned it up hardcore down the stretch going for knees and PHI is looking for blood. Personally I want that series to last longer for the sake of enjoying the bloodbath and the impact it'll have on whoever survives. Seriously - cross-checks to the throat? WANT MORE! Sadly, looks like after one more game Cindy can put his unitard on and work on his Double-Axels and all that other foofy stuff.

FLA/NJ has been relatively lame - but both teams are kinda meh anyways.

Carkner (OTT) getting 1 game for the abuse he doled out on the ice was amazingly light, but then again no one (including Shanahan likes the Rangers, so I get it). I can't believe OTT managed to tie that series up and I'm pulling for them especially if it puts them in the Bruins path.

Shea WWF Weber only gets fined - and now the Preds are looking like a threat to the Red Wings.. surprising me.

So that just leaves the Bruins/Caps and STL/SJ series. I don't find anything interesting about either STL or SJ so I'll continue to ignore them like I do FLA/NJ.

Bruins/Caps HAS to get ugly. Black & Gold have to wake up and start playing like the bears they are. I'm not sure if they're just playing tentative or what... but hopefully we get McQuaid back and start putting some fear into the Capitals.

Still - 4 games yesterday wasn't enough.. Playoff Hockey Rules. =)

Love my Pens, and always will, but I agree, the hockey they are playing is not their type of hockey that wins games.

I did take the kings as my second team to face the pens in the cup! So its looking good, and that HIT that brown laid that Sedin Sister was BEAUTIFUL! That man is playing fantastic hockey.

As for the Bruins, WAKE UP! Tonight they are looking better, but where are the first 2 lines?!

You're dead on about the Bruins that they are sleepwalking, sadly, not the first time this year. I'm a HUGE Marchand fan.. he's gotten under some skin, but he's nothing like the pest they need.

I don't know what happened to PIT, but they totally GOONED it up down the stretch. Philly has called them on it and they've come up way short. PHI will move on, I'm just curious as to how much scratching and clawing PIT will go down with.

I really hoped Canucks would of got swept. Oh well, still funny they're down 3-1.

Sorry Guys, been too busy watching hockey to see this post I guess...Didn't know we had so many hockey fans here.. :)

So let me chime in for what it's worth..

While Luongo played well the first two games, I think it's obvious the team has more confidence overall playing with Schneider between the pipes...Game 3 I thought they should have won then with Henrik back they come back and win game 4....I wouldn't count the 'Nucks out yet my friend...maybe the beast just woke up and will show why they are the top team in the league...Then we'll see who's laughing. :)

All I got to say is where the hell is the goaltending/defence in that Phili/Pitss series?? There have been 45 goals scored so far in this series. That's a new NHL record for offense through the first four games of a playoff series....While I still respect his talent, Sid looked like a crybaby in that interview after the game.

Boston/Washington is a good series as well, but I'm not surprised it's all even at 2...I think you may need to join me on the worry train Akkim.... :)

Sens might be the team I cheer for if the Canucks get eliminated...they are definetely overachieving....I think the one dimensional Rangers are wondering what's happenning../...That's why I love playoff hockey....it should be like this all season long....the turning point in that series was when Ottawa sent a message to the Rangers in the form of Carkner--try pushing us around and this is what you get...man, never seen a 6ft 7 guy drop that quickly in all my life...heh heh.

Other matchups I've been watching a little more casually...Redwings are experienced but seem old to me...the Preds look like they have fire and if they advance are gonna be real contenders...

Devils/Panthers...meh...rats...

Go Go Playoff Hockey!!

Hope in TS boys and we'll chat while we watch the games...!!

I wouldn't call the Canucks a beast. They're good, but the Kings are pretty solid and probably a bit underrated. Much like the Caps/Bruins, VAN's on the verge of going home for one key reason :: GOALIE DIFFERENTIAL.

Don't respect Sid. No point. A few weeks ago people were yelling at Millbury calling Sid a punk - think anyone would disagree now? You're DEAD ON about the goaltending.. saves at what.. 75% for the series? Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I'm going to try to let my homerism slide for the calls in last night's game. I'm pretty convinced that the Zebras did a good job of making up for suspending Backstrom instead of realizing that he was out a game for mashing a guy in the face with a cross-check after the whistle. Still, Boston had plenty of chances, but just couldn't get it clicking. They weren't engaged in the game.. and that has to change. I don't fear the Capitals, I fear the Bruins playing more emotionless games. Hopefully that changes Saturday and we punish each and every last Capital Skater on the ice so that on Sunday they're just too battered to resist.

C'mon, Rangers are a one-line show with a decent goalie and that's all we're seeing from them. That said, perhaps it's because the Bruins tend to have the Sens number, but I always thought of that place as a quiet place for a hockey game and the crowd has been AWESOME so far this round.

Good message, taken a bit too far... not that I don't appreciate it.. but he coulda made the point without being parked a game. As "tough" as the Bruins are and how everyone points "THEY GOONED TO A CUP" - we specialized in going right up to the line and not over it. =)

I've been poking on TS here and there looking for you and Beholder.. nothing like Playoff Hockey... just glad I wasn't online last night or I woulda been banned for language =)
