So I know both Ohamis and Typhoon have posted a bit of info that I sent them via txt and I did a update in the private forum but I know hardly anyone checks it so this is what is going on and some more info on the situation.

So last Wednesday my dryer caught on fire I attempted putting it out with our small extinguisher but it just didn’t do the job Lynsie and the baby got out as soon as I smelt the fire and were both ok. I had gotten some bad inhalation since I was in the house the longest putting the fire out with what I had by the time I was getting out I was crawling on the floor searching for the door.

we had two cats and about 40 sugar gliders one of the carts was brought out by the FD unconscious and we rushed her to the vet the FD did not find the other cat and they were able to pull all the gliders out. Once we were able to get into the house we looked all over the place to find our other cat assuming the worst we looked behind the couch and didn’t find him picked it up couldn’t see him and then as we put the coach down he meowed and somehow miraculously was alive.

Damage wise we lost a ton of items and house. Our laundry room was toast nothing that was in there survived the fire made its way to the living and bathroom almost everything in the bathroom melted plastic has a way of doing that and in the living room the recliner and sofa caught on fire which toasted both of our laptops the printer and much much more. The rest of the house has either smoke, heat or water damage.

Lynsie and I came out with almost nothing about 2pairs of clothes each Bentley has all his clothes that don’t fit him yet but thanks to some generous family members he has gotten some clothes that fit him.

My mom has allowed us to borrow her netbook computer for the time being until we can get another one. We plan to go ahead and build a new comp nonce we receive out insurance money but until then we are still a tad rock bottom.

I have a tech question but will post it in the tech forum if some of you techies will look the input will be great.

So sorry Chaser! Thank God everyone is ok though, including the pets. Hopefully Ins will cover the rest in time.
