The 2013 summer path to pro continues with the Spring Promotion Tournament: PAX / Gamescom Qualifiers, taking place alongside the North American and European LCS Regional Playoffs. The winner of each event will earn themselves a spot in next season's Spring Promotion Tournament for a chance at becoming a professional LCS team in 2014's Spring Split.

Your team can qualify by climbing to the top of the Ranked 5v5 Teams ladder and making it through the online tournament. The four semifinalist teams in North America will be flown to PAX in Seattle, while the European top four will be sent to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, where they'll all compete in front of a live audience for one spot per region in next season's NA and EU Spring Promotion Tournaments.

To qualify, make it to one of the top 16 eligible slots on the Ranked 5v5 ladder by July 26th at 12:00 PM PDT in NA or 12:00 CEST in EUW and EUNE. The online tournament will be streamed live on August 3rd and 4th, leading up to Gamescom from August 21-25 and PAX from August 30-September 1.

This is the post on the leagues website. (which i am sure most of you have seen.) We should try getting more active as a team in play. I know it is hard with most people's schedules. We should work out a schedule so that we can get competitive.

Last time we tried this, it didn't go very well. I will, however, talk to James about getting the ranked teams back up. Both of us have been very busy and haven't been able to talk much.

I know it is hard. I have been here for the last couple of times we have tried it. It is just the issue of getting everyone on at the same time. If we have some dedicated people that are for sure online then I think it can be possible.

Well, I have pretty much all the free time in the world until August. Totally up for it.
But perhaps we should first get everybody in stable positions, practice some team comps and try to scrim with some other teams before of jumping on ranked blindly and decide who goes where in the spot. From my personal experience, teams until gold rarely know how to deal with poke comps, dive comps, global comps or even a "protect the kog" comp until gold, so with enough practice we can get a jumpstart at the ladder. I think it is a good idea if we created a thread where people who are up for it can post their availability for matches and practices and also where people could state their champion pool so we can begin to work out who goes where and start practicing at that position (and to develop a strategy, of course)
