4000 - cloak,waist,wrist,feet
5000 - head,shoulder,chest,legs,gloves
6000 - neck,ring,trinket
7500 - weapon, tier trinket


Ways to earn DKP

1000 - For showing up for raid on time
$$$$ - guild donations via items/gold..items will be looked up on AH and gold value will be awarded as half so 1000g=500ep
1500 - Per boss kill

DKP is the bane of MMOs, that is why wow has made changes to the loot system the last expansion.

epgp lootmaster is a much much better add-on easier to explain implement prevents loot issues or people from rolling on everything rewards for showing up killing bosses and time spent in raid and has the option to reward for progression bosses all the high end raiding guilds use it

I have to agree with most deadly. Also, DKP was not the bane of MMO's just a lot of individuals decide to change loot rules to suit their needs. I believe epgp is a great idea but only after we figure something out on Gorefiend. The server is so dead at this moment we are having so much trouble trying to find and get players on for raid teams.

Dkp is good in the sense that it rewards long standing raiders, however, in my opinion it also deters new comers because they have to grind out content and to be eligible for loot because they don't have enough dkp. I think just having a master looter who will reward the veteran and people that actually could use the upgrade is good

Loot councils seem to work pretty well. I've seen dkp/epgp break up guilds, someone wants tank gear for an off spec, and has more dkp/epgp then the main or off tank, then gear either goes to someone where it won't help with progression, or someone gets butt hurt and quits raiding....
