Well around 6 years ago my Dad my became very sick. Some other things happen and we ended up moving out of our home which we took a huge lose on and moved closer to him to help take care of him. Well about 6 months after that he passed away. Little did I know that about 1 1/2 years later my Mom would be diagnoses with cancer. The good thing was that when I moved to help with my Dad I was only about a mile from my Mom (they were divorced). We were able to help with her and she did her treatments and was clear for almost a year. Well when it come back it took her from me about 10 months later.

I said all that to say that after almost 6 years of renting, get our finances right, and wait for the right time to buy again I have become a homeowner again. This morning we closed on our new home. We have been really busy the last couple weeks packing and now tomorrow we will be loading up the truck and moving to the new house. We are not moving that fair from where we living now only about 30 miles or so but still it takes about the same whether you are moving 10 miles or 5000 miles. So the past couple months have been really busy. We started the home search in December and now the end of January we own a home. Earlier this month we also went on a cruise. So I have had a some very busy last couple of months. Maybe here in a few weeks once we get everything kinda set up in the new house I will have a chance to get on here and play some.

Congratulations on the new home. It is a good feeling to have your own home, that the money and work you put into it is an investment in your future and that of your kids.
I hate to be the one to point this out but you are an orphan. Me too. I know you have a lot of people who support you and that is a great thing.
Things should get better as you settle in and I also hope you find more time to play here with us. You know we have your back and are here just like your other friends any time you need us.

Thanks everyone you are right hisgun we have a great family here. I hope I can soon catch a game or 2. My Internet is 100 / 10 now so wow its fast. I would hate for it to get wasted on Web surfing.

I'll bring the inappropriately large amount of friends that leave messes at other peoples houses and don't pick up after themselves
