part of the problem is, social media has replaced small personal forums like this ;(
it killed the clan website environment.

I am sure there are a lot of factors, one of them being most of our members got older, got jobs, had kids and moved on. I hang around because I stopped getting older and working on getting younger. I think it might be working maybe. Thank you DK for keeping the clan going in the early days, wish we could have pulled it off again but it is what it is.

I still play games. but mostly star trek online still.

DK! How you been man? Did you try the Star Trek VR game? I've been trying to get my son into Star Trek and put on some episodes for him now and then. Was tempted to get the next generation on blueray. I remember coming home from school and watching those. He likes the original.

The website kinda died off again. There are a few clans still using forums, like The Art of Warfare, but many seem to just use Discord. The clanbbf.com site should probably just be some static pages (about us, history, heroes, charter) with the main page having some "join" or "where to find us" info. linking to the discord: discord.gg/tx8V9UU Hisgun and a few long time members still use it some.

I did get a new laptop a while back and tried to get back into PC gaming. Itchy died, which was quite sad, and I didn't really get into any particular game too much other than some Core Keeper and Minecraft. Set up an automated arena with 100's of command blocks. lol

I sold the laptop, but did fix up an old HP my grandma fried. Works well enough for older games, and some newer ones.

Would be fun to game with you sometime!

all good my friend. if it was anyone fault it was social media being an easier platform to talk on, in combination with less and less games did cool things like tournament tracking like RA2. times change, the need to homes like this changed with them. and we also all got old

no i have not tried it yet. VR makes me feel drunk after i use it
