advantages in liquid cooling starts to show when temp of the CPU goes above 65c.

aircooled coolers will keep rising beyond 80c.

while liquid cooled coolers will slowly rise after 70c or find their stable maximum rising point and stop rising.

overclocking CPU to the maximum possible will raise cpu temp beyond 80c. and liquid cooled coolers will help you find balance arund 85c. while air coolers mightgo beyond 90c. and fail.

greater the radiator size greater the effect of finding maximum rising point. and it will be lower.

at idle or midium load you will not find much difference between pre made liquid coolers and air coolers.

-PS. to chaser.
it is important to have high pressure fans for H80. (Rad is thick and fins are tight) stock fans included in the unit are good. Not really a good idea to change fans unless you are buyin fans beyond 130cfm. I am sorry that your H80 didn't turn out to be not so good for you.
check lists for H80
1. molex connected? (pump needs power, fan connecter coming out of the main unit is just monitoring the rpm not giving power)
2. fans are changed? are they connect directly to the block?
3. is it getting fresh cool air from outside of case as a intake? or outtake?
4. is it sucking in hot air exhausted by GPU and PSU from back of the case?

Sleep my H80 worked fine except the fans would not run while connected to the block and after a day the LED went out and I could not tell what mode the pump was in. Corsair suggested an RMA so it was sent and they should be receiving it back soon I hope by next Friday ill have a good working one.

Just wanted to give you an example of how much you can get out of overclocking and so on....

-> above is CPU and GPU both at stock speed.

well this is result of my custom liquid cooling system, so you will not get this much out of it but still... it shows overclocking can give you extra Frames and so on...

no no no it's c++ binary that is 32-bit.
windows version is 64bit...
first colum is binary (what operating program uses - heaven benchmark tool)
second colum shows my windows version

no matter what you do you won't be able to use Rams greater than 4g in 32bit.
windows 64 bit works just like 32 bit
i don't think you will have any problem running it other than real old programs
