It will hold up to Black Ops, but in my opinion, if you can handle getting a slightly better one, I'd say go for it.

I just upgraded from a 5570 to the 5770 because the testing perfomance I was getting wasn't up to standards for me.

The 57xx/58xx cards are being phased out right now and the prices will drop in a few weeks. Definitely wait and get at least a 5770, if not a 5850.

A GTX465/470 might be better unless you must buy ATi

no i dont have to stay with ATI...actually i would perfer something different...like EVGA or nvidia or something like that BFG...only downside is that i will probably have to get a new power supply since all i have is a 300 watt PS.

What is your CPU?

If the CPU will not bottleneck, get an EVGA GTX465 and a decent 550W - 600W PSU (Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, or Antec for preference). If you want to buy an ATi card, get Asus or Sapphire, and whichever you go with, if you care about overclocking, make sure you buy a reference card.

It's an old chip, but it should be fine without too much bottlenecking, if any :)

Definitely go with the 465 or 5850, and as I said above, quality PSU, and make sure you at least wait for the Black Friday sales... enjoy!

Hey man, plug in all your info (including the graphics card you want to get) and it will tell you the wattage you will need. It helped me out.
