So I’m looking for a decent headset so I can have it sent and here before Black Ops comes out. I am going thru GameStop only because I have a gift card.

Can some of you techies give me some input on the headsets I have listed below?

I’m thinking about #3 the turtle beach one because of the great reviews it has but it’s for Xbox as well so I don’t know what type of plug in it is.

My plug in is on the front of my laptop and the last few ear phones I have had tend to break there from being against my body. Are there some adaptors I can get or any ideas I can do? I might try to just put some auto vacuum lines and using some electrical tape to buffer it up a bit.

I have the razer carcharias, am very happy with it. It is 10 dollars more than the other headsets, but compared to the pirana, it is much better

Razer audio is ok (before you ask, I own the Barracuda headphones and sound card), but there is much better out there.

Look into a Steelseries Siberias/Siberias V2 or Audio Technica AD700's

They are good, but they've gone downhill a bit recently, you have to spend a fair bit more to get good quality.

I would've said Newegg, but as he said he has a giftcard for gamestop.

yeah darn gift card haha but i will most likley find a cheap headset and see how they work for now and buy a better pair later i have to much going on right now to dish a ton out for a headset.
