Well i havent been in game like all weekend and i wanted to share why. (i do this a lot i know)

My house has been thru the ringer as many of you know just 2 years ago we had a fire and i did a ton of repair on the inside so im starting to work on the outside in prep to sell in the next couple of years.

The first project was to replace the basement doors and the reason being was

• They looked disgusting
• They are terribly insulated costing me in heating and cooling bills.

So here is a before and after picture so you all can see what i can accomplish when im not sitting on my butt playing games each weekend.

As you can see i tore out the old doors and poured a little curb with some drainage for when it rains and snows. I added 2 walls on each side of the door and made a massive door. I also decided to add a spigot and a dryer vent because we dont have any water on the outside of the house and the dryer vent because the old one is what caused the fire so its time to re-route it.

Any one else manage to do anything productive this weekend?

We dont know the real construction date on the house however during a remodel before the fire we found wall paper dating to the 1920 and during the remodel after the fire we found old gas pipes for gas lighting.

The house next to us was built around 1880 and were assuming ours was built around the same time with all the gas lighting and knob and tube wiring we replaced. So we want to move into a bigger house with a better floor plan so we can continue to grow our family.

First of all BDSM humm idea. Actualey we live right across from a school and for god know why little kids like to knock on our basement door. The old doors had broken glass and what not all over so its for the kids lol.

Old houses arent bad really i like this house just the floor plan sucks.

I know this wasn't a weekend project nut the mother in law has been pestering me since last year to build her this "Potting bench" since last year so i figured i better do it so i spent about 2 hours and used some old 2x4s and some extra fence pickets i had laying around.
