Zodiac, your opinion is valued. Communities can also take away attention to our own servers. If it was a collective and approved community involvement, then that is one thing, but to sneak around and try to get BBF players involved in his server and take away from what many members and leaders have paid and/or worked hard for, then that cannot be tolerated.

One would think we are all here in BBF because we enjoy the same games and enjoy playing those games with one another... for those looking to make a name for themselves, or gain rank... all they should do is apply themselves and earn it rather than coerce current members into joining theirs.

I agree 100% Ariakas. Also bribery shouldn't be used to keep people in line or to get them to help.

Just kudos for the quick reaction and swift action toward them. Friend or not I think it was handled correctly. So again, kudos.

We as a collective decided to promote him not because of his gaming skill but because of his programming background (much like Corruption).

I have tried to iterate in the past to every one how demanding and time and labor intensive it is to start, run, and continue to grow a server but until people try to do it on their own i dont think people will quite understnad. I am not saying you do not understand but for me i am always trying to look for new people that we can trust to help with the server.

Our server files are like our own children and we dont trust them to a stranger. We may allow someone who wants to learn access to a config file or two so they can tow around then we will review their work and say ok this will/wont work and here is why. By doing this we can not only teach a person how to work with YAML format but also familiarize them with our long list of plugins.

Zion as i said was knowlagable in plugins howeer we never had enough trust in him to have access to the entire list of files and after the last 3 days i think I made the right call but not allowing him that.

You're right. We dont. I could care less if you live in a 2x2 dirt shack or a 50,000 block diamond house. We promoted him because he seemed to of had great programming skills and had a a positive attitude about his position up until that point.

You shouldn't promote someone just because he knows how to fumble his way through installing add ons. Oh and knowledge of the game is the same as knowing how to add addons. Which is gaming skill. Thus it was in violation of the clan charter. You guys can twist it how ever you want but if you guys want to do that then why would anyone want to be a part of a clan that doesn't stand by their charter? That is all I have to say on the matter because nothing I say will ever matter. It is obvious that the way I see the rules and the way you bend them is completely different.
