So apparently after finally finding a way to make a shop. Admins takes it down; no hard feelings BTW>.<.
But i was just wondering why. Guests should be able to make shops. First shops in the guest world are definitely not going to get nearly as much business as shops in the shop world; second the only reason we are not allowed to make a shop in the shop world is because for me im not old enough.
I believe that guests should be able to make shops on our own plot. Another solution would be to make a shop part of the freebuild town or let guests make shops in the shop world.

I understand where you are coming from but from an administrative perspective we need to allow members special privileges this will encourage guests to apply and be part of the clan.

With the new spawn coming soon a lot of other features will be changing however not everything is set in stone as of yet. Let me also assure you no one is making a ton of money off of their shops its almost easier saying "Hey im selling diamonds anyone wanna buy/trade?".

In previous freebuilds guests would make shop stands in their plots which they can still do but without the access to ChestShop the plugin that makes shops.


The only reason guests were able to make shops is because of the fact a permission was missed when setting up that world. When we noticed it (much like other things that aren't supposed to be working in a particular manor) we removed it.

I have to say I dont think Guests should be able to. Like Chase said it is a member privilege. Plus if we let guests create shops, they are, as is, a guest. They could make one than not come back than the Admins have to go through and clear out unused shops. I say keep it as is.

Step 1: Type in game, /Money Ms_Lynn
Step 2: Rant about me having admin powers and accuse me of abusing them via giving Ms_Lynn items ect. (be sure to ignore Vyndorns shop entirely)
Step 3: Change post to read "No one except Ms_Lynn is making a ton of money"
Step 4: Find evidence to back your claims of abuse of power you will probably use against me later.

Regarding Reptiles Original statement and this poll:

You are a guest of this server, please feel free to leave at any time if you feel that the server does not meet your expectations. I know it sounds cold but this is Clan BBFs server and we cater to the needs and demands of the Clan as a whole. I support the idea of allowing guests to have shops but if it is taking away a means to recruit more members than the rules should be changed in order to allow for that process to happen.

i know guests should be able to apply to be an honorary guest then we would still have to apply but we have the privelige to make shops

I have no issue finding a better way for guests to have shops but ide prefer all shops be in the same area

Good... good... good.. everything is going as planned.


Anyhow, the shops are perks of being in the clan. While it seems unfair that only players of age (and status of clan) may build them, it's just how it is. However, with all these new changes happening soon, it is a possibility. As of now though, I'd say no.
