I have been playing now for a few weeks off and on and I have seen a lot of old name and a lot of new names. They do not play for long, we did have 6 on at one time but if we get anymore than that someone will not get on.

The server is set for 8 players. (We need it for more).

Can we get someone to go into spawn and do something there and place signs let anyone that dose come on know what is going on with the server and have them check back soon. (Put up signs and something tall for them to know where it is).

We have Officer so they need to be in there game now and then and NOT spend all there time in others. (If they are not going to take part in this game they need to give up there rank and we can try to get someone that will help the game).

No mods, is they just a few that we can add someway? (Like set home, Spawn, Creeper not blow up holes).

I think if we can just work on a few thing like this we can keep players on longer and get some new blood.

I think if we even got a new map with the up dates on it would help a lot also.

Iwill increase the number off players but until mojang fixes their legal battles with bukkit I have my hands tied. This weekend I will be trying to work up a work around that has been floating around so we can continue with updates.

Good idea itchy ill post more about it tonight after work.

Will microsoft's purchase of mojang have any effect on these legal battles?

Alright after a few hours of work i have both good news and bad news.

The good news is

• Player limit increased to 20
• Server accepts clients running 1.7 and 1.8
• Spawn has been set
• /set home and /home both work
• /tpa works
• /back works
• as well as a few other commands

The bad news

Because of the DCMA issued their are currentley no 1.8 builds of Cauldron, Spigot, or Bukkit. (Cauldron and Spigot both use Bukkit code).

Spigot has started issuing patches to their last build (thankfully i have a copy) and i can patch the build if they change their code (however it is a pain).

If you are running 1.8 and join our server all new features are pretty much disabled. This also means i cannot create a 1.8 map until these problems are fixed.

Sounds good for me at less we can do a few thing now on the server.

I think your right Itchy the game officers should make a point of being in game more than they do. This is the type of game that if people see other people then they play if not they go... it is that easy. My "Village Church" was a way to make the server look used and maybe to get others to build near spawn. Anyway now I have something to do....keep fixing it and creeper holes and half cut down trees... not so hard.

I will be gone for a few weeks I am going to De. to be with my mother, she just got her a new knee. So I will be there trying to get her to dance around the house once again.

Take care of her she's the only Mom you have when you think about it, or even if you don't think about it.
I was going to list all the new parts I could use but way to much to list.
She should do good after she gets past the pain and used to it. Like new, almost.
