Today Mojang released a 1.4.7 update which fixes many bugs that were launched with the 1.4.6 update. Since the only thing that was fixed were some bugs 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are compatible with each other.

Mojang plans on releasing new updates every two months and if they are not planning on working hand in hand with craftbukkit we will be behind the curve. Craftbukkit is going very slow in releasing and many of our plugins have stated they will only update when craftbukkit releases an Official build.

Currently there is no 1.4.6 official build however I'm sure it wont take much for them to fix the bugs and start with 1.4.7.

The server we are starting work on is still 1.4.5 and may release as a downgraded version if craftbukkit is to slow.

If this is the case we may need to look into using launches like multimc and allowing everyone to download these files (much like the korcraft server).

This would be a huge hassle for everyone and i understand but may be the best and only way to run our server at full potential.

I will attempt to keep everyone updated on this as time progresses.

Bukkit has been dropping the ball hardcore recently. They use to update within a few days, maximum a week, now theyre lucky to get it out within 3 weeks.

This was released by the Bukkit staff on December 19th.

I would also like to add that when Mojang releases the information of what the update fixes, such as bug fixes, that you don't take advantage of them because the server isn't able to fix them. I'm primarily talking about the bug where setting off a firework that was crafted without a firework star would crash the area around where it was set off. Due to someone who repeatedly took advantage of it, this someone's name is now Sir Trololololol. *cough* phantom *cough*

I would really like to join you guys in Minecraft again. The only reason I haven't is due to the fact that I didn't care much for the fact that I was stuck building on a small plot of land. Is there a way to go out into the wilds and build? I like to build both down and up which sometimes results in massive constructs and I felt slightly constricted to the small plot I was given the last time I played.

Now that you are a member you will not be stuck in freebuild. However we dont have any plugins on our server right now so it is an open world.

And keep in mind that with out any if the plugins, you can, and most likely will be griefed.

I am good at hiding what I build lol. Plus I know how to build traps.
