Increase the ram minecraft can use was created by [BBF]Ariakas

How can I allocate more ram usage to minecraft? I've read some ways to do it but wondered of you seasoned players had a safe and sure way to do so. I have 7g ram and would allocate about 4gb. Jungles lag me up to the point I can't move but it doesn't do this all of the time.

The easiest way to seriously improve gameplay is to download a custom launcher called OptiFine. This program allows you allocate ram at the touch of a button, and builds onto the already established controls/settings of the game, giving you tons of other various graphical tweaks.

The other way is not so easy. It varies from PC to PC. It depends widely on operating system and java versions. You got to create a bat file with perfectly executing codes, sometimes which require a bit on tinkering in control panel. Trust me, it sucks. Sometimes its easy, sometimes its not.

The launcher is actualey magiclauncher optifine is a mod that allows you to get more for less in a way. Better graphics and such for les memory.

Get with me ari and i can explain both of these to you and walk you thru the process its really easy.
