Not a bad idea, but instead of making it to scale why not build it full-size on single player creative?

make sure you include the maze underneath the floor :) where the Minotaur lives. one way in only one way out, no turning back :P (we could include it into a mini/full game)

Ok. I didn't get the chance to be on today with school and stuff, so I'll start working on it tomorrow. I like the idea of a maze underneath the floor. Don't know how i'm gonna add a minotaur...

Build the maze out of obsidian and just use creepers.

The arena is built! I might change a few things on some feedback from Chase when I send the map to him. The arena features: a bedrock maze underneath the floor, a sand floor with a few obstacles, a nice glass veiwing area, and quick access to the bottom floor to enter the arena. I have some classes in mind, but I think the oublic should vote on what they are. So its not to OP and not to wimpy. Next step: how to send the map to Chase. The map name is Certamen.
