I think we should allow Reis's Minimap mod for the normal server because it is handy and a useful application. It's not like it gives you any unfair advantage in the sense that all it does is allow you to save coordinates. In my opinion, its no different than writing down the coords or taking screen shots of them to look back at later.

If you have played the KorCraft server, you have used Reis. It is the little Map Hub in the top right corner which allows you to set custom way points.

I'll be putting out Korcraft Lite when I have time later on it'll basically be all the Utility mods from korcraft, Rei's, Damage indicators, etc without the content files. This assures that members can enjoy these utilities. so coming SOON (probably tonight/tomorrow morning), Manual instalation will still be disallowed due to possible tampering.

to be honest i dont think damage indicators is a good thing. it can sometime give away your position.

I've disabled a few features for both that are normally active on the korcraft server, build is shipping now along with korcraft 1.3.1. 1.3.1 download comes with vanilla,lite, and korcraft, and lite only is available and will be in a seperate thread.

But this post isnt about Korcraft. Just pushing for Reis on the normal vanilla server.

The reason we don't allow rei's is due to the fact that people can modify it with a quick snip here and there for malicious activites, shipping a modified version that's been gutted of a few features ensures that modifications can't be done without explicitly breaking rules. Vanilla Rei's can be be tricked while still remaining vanilla, Korcraft Rei's can't be.
