Patch 1.6 is under development at the moment by Mojang, but we can surely expect some awesome new additions to the game. Some of the things I am looking forward into are the horses, mules, and donkey mobs. Theyre also adding several new items and blocks such as lead, carpets, hay, etc!

Oh, that sounds pretty cool. I think those would be great things to have in minecraft. I should look into that more.
