Banned Players and Server 2.0

Banned Players and Server 2.0 was created by [BBF]Chaser

Since were going to a new server and such we need to decide what to do with all the banned players

Currently we have like 320 players banned from the server and thats not counting the IP's that are banned.

Question is do we want to keep it that way or do we want to do a mass pardon and give everyone a second chance?

Most of the bans are listed as unknown reasons so we can also say all bans from the last 1-2 months stay anything older then that is lifted.

I dont care either way so its up to all of you.

I say give them all a second chance. I think most of them have learned they're lesson. If they continue to be bad then do ban them. Most of them probably deleted the server anyway.

Bans go as far back as August of 2012 and all of the IP bans are from the same month.

Yeah, i agree. The ones that have reasons that are unclear, unknown, and forgivable should ONLY be the ones getting the second chance because like i have said before, they may not have done something that bad or they got blamed,(unlikely) but they may have been sorry and learned they're lesson.

Let me clarify a few things.

IP bans are mostly because the people tried logging in from multiple accounts after being banned for 1 account.

Also Minecraft just added the reason behind the bans not to long ago when i first took over it only listed the players name and time stamp nothing more. (if i remember correctly)

I had a list of everyone banned the reasoning behind the bans and who made the ban but that was lost between the last two GC's and was never updated correctly.

I am all for pardoning people, but lets keep all the IPs banned. As you said, people who are ipbanned purposely harassed staff and players from various locations, and some are also hackers, such as those guys who took my client over. I think we should post a huge list of all the players banned in the mod section of the forums and go over some of the people banned. I know for sure that some of those people have been pardoned several times, and do not deserve another chance.

We are taking on an entire new subdomain we are no longer

we are now

clanbbf.mccraft.us

Most people wont even notice the differance exspecialy if they have been banned for over a year or so.
