I decided to get back on Day Z last night and see how long I could survive, for the most part throwing caution to the wind... I logged into BMRF #2 server (the expert one) and remembered that I left off last time on the hospital roof in elektro... I have an AKM with two mags and not much else worth anything...

Not even 10 minutes after logging in, I hear zombie aggro nearby under me... I try to get an eye on any movement, and eventually see a survivor run into the school house across the way... I wait for him to show himself again, which he does... he makes his way to the staircase and I see that he has a enfield, so I take the shot and nail him in the knee/hip area... he runs, blood spurting out everywhere... I don't see him leave the building, So I imagine he's bandaging behind a wall somewhere... then he surfaces again, returning to the second floor of the building and tries to peek out a window to find me... I deliver a 2nd round through his bean and seal the deal... Hotwire1, RIP... thanks for the backpack and food stuffs... I decide to swing through the store to see if I can find any new items... only found toilet paper, so north I go...

Grinch logs in with a bunch of his buddies from TLR, but only 2 are whitelisted... its a long wait, and I head north to Zelenogorsk in the meantime... Yet another survivor spotted at the grocery store, I get low and stalk him as he makes his way through the alley ways and brick buildings... I eventually catch up to him undetected and put a round into the back of his thigh and he drops to the ground with the leg snap sound... He's armed with some assualt rifle, but im not sure what... so I play cautiously and swing around... POOF.. he's gone... somehow the asshat combat logged.. never got a name so not much can be done about it...

Exo and Rashaab are half afk or gone, so instead of meeting up with them in Vybor, I head south back to kamenka to meet grinch and his TLR friends that just got whitelisted... we eventually meet at balota airfield and i watch them from afar making their way around... I shoot at them and hit the door of the building they are going into and laugh to myself as everyone on TS freaks out and chaos ensues... After BSing, we head to cherno where the real fun begins...

After a chaotic looting of the grocery store and some near death experiences, we get everyone a primary (almost) at the firestation and church and then head toward the clock tower building by international hotel... everyones aggro'ing like a mofo, so I run ahead to scout and leave poor grinch with tending to the sheep.

I hear someone talking nonsense in direct chat... something like "herneeherneehernee mememememe, herrrrrrhaaa... mmmmmmmmnooooooo" ... I peek around the corner and see a guy with a winchester running around with a red chemlight... I shoot him down and the noises stop... thank you.

I leave the corpse to be looted by the tag alongs and climb up the clock tower.... Flares are being thrown from the hospital toward international hotel, so I get ready to engage... bingo.. someone on the hospital roof... Long story short... Grinch runs to the hospital and tries to frag grenade the guy but throws the nade too high... I lay down some suppressive fire while grinch climbs the ladder and dome caps him with the enfield... done and done.... RIP Pappy.

It gets quiet.... and i hear a crossbow fire, very close to me... I assume its someone in our group, but I turn around anyway.... theres a guy crouching right behind... he pulls out his revolver after missing with the crossbow and I unload half a clip of AKM into his torso and head... freaking ninjas...

Rest in peace bluepike... "Crossbow and revolver as such BS!!!!... headshot with both and still doesnt die"... i bet.

we all regroup on the clock tower and shortly after a shot hits the tower right next to my head... we all hit the deck and I climb down the tower to go after him, after confirming the shot came from concrete industrial construction site.... I never do end up finding the guy before server restart, but after restart we log in and grinch gets killed while loading in... I see his killer up on the giant industrial to the north int he center of town and line up a shot... POP.... done... Rest in peace again, Pappy.

After that its late and I bug out to the north and log, with the sounds of gunfire at fire station and TS full of people screaming about zombies... I cant help but laugh, but what a good time.. hope we can do this again.

One of these days my work schedule will let me play with you guys again lol.
