Well guys as you know we had a fire back in December and since then moved back in so I have started and finished a few projects since then. First off we have had a shed sitting in our bacement waiting to get put together for a few months now so I managed to get that done.

here is me putting the base together.

The second big project was a huge patio my fiancée wanted done. Cement work is hard work I remember why I don’t do this for a living now.

I'm missing some pics but the entire thing had to be dug out by hand then plastic rebar and wire mesh was put down.

We poured the cement just the other day and in total it was 7 cubic yards for an additional 256 square feet of patio added on to our existing 70 square feet making a 330ish square foot patio.

After

nice patio chase looks good now you just got to do something about that grass or should i say the lack of grass

That’s next year's goal Dak. it’s a little late for it this year so early next summer I'm going to hopefully spray the entire yard with killer throw some tide down to hopefully get rid of the grubs which will in turn get rid of my moles then a week or so later ill till the entire thing and plant seed.

And yes Tide the laundry detergent is a great grub killer just spread it and keep it wet.

After that I put gravel down plastic rebar and mesh like I said before plus all the cement on top hah.

well it looks like most of your yard is all weeds so just spray so weed killer and you wont have a green yard anymore lol. but seriously if you want to kill the grass or weeds off in about 2 weeks get some heavy duty black plastic tarps. like a pool cover that is UV resistent, granted their not cheap (from what i hear) and cover your yard with it and like i said in about 2 maybe 3 weeks all the green stuff in your yard will be dead. oh and chase will your roto till your yard be sure to roto till that dirt mound you got by the fence so you will have a flat yard

Priorities. BBQ first, then the yard.

I have some places for that mound dak lol leave it alone haha. Get over here next year and help me with the yard dak lol.
