Warning to all Horse Back Riders was created by [BBF]Quiffterz

I was just riding my white horse Nixton (My best horse) around my base on my single player, when i decided to jump across my man made river connecting to the ocean. But failed causing me and my horse to plummet into the water.
Now I thought this was no big deal since he would just float back up.
Instead he just stood there at the bottom of the river unmoving. He wouldn't float up I could not push him up (With a lead you can pull them up but i didn't have one on me)
I panicked trying to dig a 2 wide stair way leading to land but it was slow since I was underwater. Shortly Nixton began to drown, I panicked and punched him causing him to run up the path I had dug. This action tho not a good one probably saved his life.
Anyways what I'm saying is man made rivers drown horses.

I figured out why.
My river was 4 deep and I only filled the top then broke the blocks under it after so the water would flow down causing the rest of the water to act as a current pushing my horse down to the bottom and not letting him up.
