The GC has not been around for over a week now.

I will make sure there are ways to donate that's also something that is influencing who i pick as a server host.

Bad news indeed. Is there anyway Jester would be able to host after his server network at home was repaired and fixed up?

Isn't it possible to make a BBF paypal account? Then people would just have to transfer money to it and someone could pay the TS and/or the minecraft server from that. Here is the link to Paypal info www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant . Doesn't look that hard to do and looks like what we need. Kinda surprised this hasn't been done yet.

He could be he has many other thigns hes hosting for example his own business and other people that pay him i would assume.

I dont blame him for dropping us he has given up ample time to find new things.

That is in a way what i am hoping to do with Minecraft. I am going out of town this weekend so i wont be starting anything this weekend but i hope to get things going soon so a whole new set up server can be ready to go and we can tell our guests where to go.

I went looking at some of the server providers and one that stood out a bit was fragnet. You pay for how much gig you want your server to have.

You are going to pay for the amount of gigs one way or another. One of our guests showed me a great host provider that is much cheaper then the ones i looked at. It also has some good thing like a MySQL, webhosting, and full FTP access. The only thing with it is its using a different admin console but that's ok some google searching and a few support tickets later ill figure it out.

As i said since i have a weekend trip ill start getting into things next week but we have plenty of time.

Fragnet is about $40 for ma 3GB server i have fund 3GB servers for as cheap as $18 which i can afford lol

ight now our server has 5 GB but 3 should do us fine and we can add or remove RAM as necessary for only 2-3 bucks with the host im looking at.

Thats also a bad thing we wont have an extra server to do testing on but that's ok.
