Mojang likes to tweet out the news for future updates when almost finished a current one.
They have tweeted out and replied to messages that oceans will be updated to maybe have coal, fish, maybe even loot in underwater temples (I thought of that one)

They also said they will be adding two new biomes that probably will have temples with loot like our jungle and desert ones.

They have replied to messages saying they will work on the end and nether a lot and make it a whole lot better before adding new worlds/dimensions.

He has said they will either improve on existing mobs (like the witch) or add new ones (which is probably unlikely)

Some member may not know this, but back in 1.7 beta they talked about a red dragon. Jeb has recently been hinting at it along with other things like the mysterious red Elmo. Read my other post Minecraft Easter Eggs to find out about that.

But don't you find it odd that in 1.7 beta he talked about it, and now in the new 1.7 official minecraft he hints at it again.
